Flying home

In about an hour we will be boarding our flight and heading home. It's weird how fast the trip went. We will be home at 12:30pm on Wednesday, but we leave here 9:30am on Wednesday. It's kinda cool.

Anyways, I miss all you guys and I'll see you soon.

:P

Much love and thanks for the prayers.

Last Full Day in Thailand

Yesterday was pretty awesome. We got to watch an elephant show and then took a 1 hour ride on the back of them. I got to ride with Chris Simning which was awesome!

We then got to go to a monkey show and then a snake show.

We did so much touristy stuff. The night before we got to participate in this ceremony where everyone lights a bunch of candle hot air balloon things and let them fly into the sky. The crowd released thousands at the same time. There are photos at ...

I'm sad to come back, but also ready to come back. I will definitely miss this group of people, as a team we really bonded well.

Thanks for the prayers.

We head to Singapore tomorrow, then we spend the night there and then Wednesday at 9am (or 7pm Tuesday for you guys) we head home and land at Wednesday 12:30pm your time. so crazy.

I miss all you guys and I hope to see you soon.

Day, unknown.

I think it's Friday, but Thursday for you guys. We are in the last full day of junior high camp. which is so crazy! God has been totally moving and it's awesome to watch.

We do our seminars again in about an hour and I'm totally stoked to do it.

I had a blast last night trying to get the biggest moth i have ever seen out of my room with the four guys who I share a room with. (i realize that's like the worst sentence grammar ever, but it's ok. lol)

I have many stories which I look forward to sharing when I get home.

Thanks for the prayers!

James 1:22 has challenged me the last few days. I encourage you guys to read it.

Much love

Last day of High School camp

It's weird how fast high school camp went by. It was crazy. It was such a good experience and I loved every minute of it.

These kids are great and desire after God so much. I'm so encouraged by these kids.

The seminar I got to teach went very well. I got to teach it twice, those I didn't have many kids it was very personal and I loved it.

Keep praying that we get rest between camps and that God continues to speak through us.

Thanks for the prayers everyone, I might put a video on facebook in a couple of hours, we'll see. :P

I miss all of you and I hope to see you all soon!

Camp has started!

Camp started yesterday, so we are currently in the morning of the first full day. It's pretty cool. The kids are awesome and fun to hang out with.

I'm still kinda nervous for my seminar, so if you guys could pray for me on that, that would be awesome!

It is so hot here, but so beautiful I love it!

Well I gotta get back to the kids!

Grace and peace!

Thailand day 2!

I'm totally in a Mac store in a mall in Thailand. Soo good

anyways, in order to make adjusting to the time easier we were forced to stay up until like 10pm last night here and it was hilarious cause we were all falling asleep. lol stories to follow

We did a little bit of cultural training today, including how to say hi, buy certain items, and other things like that.

2 days until camp begins, I can not wait!

Last night we went to the night bazaar which is an awesome street market type thing where you can barter items from various venders. I totally bought diesel glasses and a watch for a totally of 18 bucks. lol

Thanks for all your prayers and for following the blog!

19 hours later...

So we are here in Singapore airport and our next flight doesn't leave until 7am here. It is currently 2am here or 11am for you guys.

The flights were long, but much fun.

I sat in between Rich and this random Japanese woman named Susie. We talked for a while and I even got to share my testimony, which was awesome! I'm glad God used me in the most random place.

Well it's time to go get some food and relax, I will try to post later today when we arrive and are all settled in at Chiang Mai!

Thanks for the prayers, and remember we love because Christ loved us first.

Crunch Time

I have about an hour before I need to head out towards the airport, but instead of last minute packing I am going to update my blog. :P lol priorities right? Anyways, the team meets up at 11:30 and the plane flies out at 2:45. It's weird that today's the day. This day always has trouble getting here until I have to pack then I feel like I never have enough time. lol

Thanks for your prayers everyone! I will make sure to take lots of pictures and I will try to update my blog when I get there. please note that with the 14 hour time difference, according to our itinerary we aren't supposed to arrive for 2 days. :/ lol so... don't expect a blog update too soon, but I will update as soon as I can.

In the mean time think of what two animals you would combine into a super animal and what the super animal would be. write your answers below. (liger is not an option, sorry everyone!)

see you on the flip side!

1 Day and counting

As I sit at my computer instead of finishing my packing I am in awe of the fact that the trip is tomorrow and that God has provided for everyone on the trip to go.

Pray that we are constantly reminded of why we are going and that it isn't just an awesome vaca for us, but a time to reach out to the MKs and Third Culture Kids.

Thanks for all your prayers, I'm going to finish packing and go to bed.

Grace and peace!

Tearing Down the Walls, 4 days and counting

As I listen to Tearing Down the Walls by Hillsong United (the link is below), I am just thankful and realizing how freaking soon this trip is. Other than Sunday (cause I'm at church all day, so I won't get anything done) I have today, tomorrow and saturday to finish my packing and seminar prep (which seems like a lot, but will be gone before I know it. lol). This trip is getting more and more real the more hours pass by on my clock.

I am so stoked that God can use everyone on the team to reach out to these kids and I just can't wait!

My seminar is going to be on John 13:1-17, which is Jesus washing the disciples feet. Pray that, as a team, we can serve unconditionally and whole heartedly.

Thanks for the prayers and I'll keep you posted!

Heading To Thailand, 5 Days and counting

Today is the 5th to last day (I think, lol) until we leave for Thailand. I got the chance to meet the team at Hume last weekend and that was a blast in and of it self. It got me that much more excited for this trip!

God provided for this trip for the whole team from such random places and I thank all of you for your prayers and support.

I will be updating this thing instead of facebook because I kinda want to just avoid it for the 16 days because I know if I update 1 thing, I'll have to check everything. (you all know what I am talking about. lol)

Here is the link to the resort that we will be running the camp at...

and here is the link to the Hume Lake Blog which will update more often than I will and will probably be that much more awesome...
http://humeinternational.org/category/thailand/

Pray that we get what we need to get done this week and rest up so that we can give the kids 100% of who we are and demonstrate Christ in our lives to them.

I will miss you all, but I'm not leaving for 5 days. let's do something until then!

Pruning

At least I know I'm doing something right, cause God is definitely pruning some things in my life.

I'm interested to see where the next couple of weeks go.
